Scholarship Opportunity Provided by Arrowhead United Way and Partner Southern California Edison

Arrowhead United Way is proud to announce five $1,000 Scholarships for high school seniors pursuing a college education in a STEM field. Funding is intended to be used for living expenses, tuition, books, and other school-related expenses. This scholarship is made possible through a partnership with Southern California Edison.

Requirements:

Must have been accepted to an accredited community college and/or university and plan to pursue STEM field as a major/career path.
You must provide a copy of your acceptance letter.
Must have a minimum 2.3 high school GPA
Must submit an 800-1000 word essay, Times New Roman 12 point font on the below topic: Why are you interested in pursuing an education in STEM, and how do you think STEM fields can change the future of the world/humanity?
Must submit two professional or educational references
Applicant must live within our service area
A number of applicants will be asked to interview for the scholarship
