Scholarship Opportunity Provided by Arrowhead United Way and Partner Southern California Edison

Arrowhead United Way is proud to announce five $1,000 Scholarships for high school seniors pursuing a college education in a STEM field. Funding is intended to be used for living expenses, tuition, books, and other school-related expenses. This scholarship is made possible through a partnership with Southern California Edison.

DEADLINE IS JUNE 15TH! APPLY TODAY!

Requirements:

• Must have been accepted to an accredited community college and/or university and plan to pursue STEM field as a major/career path.

• You must provide a copy of your acceptance letter.

• Must have a minimum 2.3 high school GPA

• Must submit an 800-1000 word essay, Times New Roman 12 point font on the below topic: Why are you interested in pursuing an education in STEM, and how do you think STEM fields can change the future of the world/humanity?

• Must submit two professional or educational references

• Applicant must live within our service area

• A number of applicants will be asked to interview for the scholarship
