"I chose to become a school counselor because I wanted to make a difference in student's lives. Growing up, I had great counselors that guided my way through school both academically as well as emotionally. I wanted to be just like them and make an impression on a student that would last a lifetime. I love being a school counselor because I value education and enjoy helping and encouraging students to do their best as they navigate through school and plan for their future." -Mrs. Sanchez

"Being a school counselor means being the ultimate advocate for all students and their academic and social emotional wellbeing. I am all in because I believe that a student's circumstances should not be the sole dictator of where they go or who they will become in life. As a school counselor, my mission is to help students and families overcome obstacles by supporting them and helping them bridge the gaps." -Ms.Payan
