Backpack Giveaway Hosted by Supervisor Joe Baca Jr.

Dear valued community partner, Join Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. on Saturday, July 31st from 9 am to 2 pm at the San Bernardino County Government Center for a 5,000 Backpack Giveaway event!!! Now that kids are going back to in-person teaching in our schools, it’s time to get them ready to have a successful school year. That is why Supervisor Baca has partnered with so many wonderful community partners to give away 5,000 backpacks for all students, from preschool to 12th grade. We will also be giving away free farm-to-family food boxes, face masks, socks, books, and more. With COVID-19 still prevalent in our community, we will also be offering vaccinations for those who are 12 years and older. Those who are under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian present to receive the vaccination. We encourage you to arrive early and to register each child to receive a backpack.
